Time to Hit the Books

Mom is studying a lot these days. We spend a lot of time at home because she's taking two accounting courses right now. She promises to take me to the park or something during break.

Dad says she's studying bean counting, but mom hasn't been using any beans. She mostly lugs around books and her favorite calculator.

We ate Vietnamese spring rolls tonight. Dad did most of the cooking and mom made the dipping sauce. It was a perfect dinner for a hot summer day.
