Wow! Has it really been more than a week since I've last blogged? Well, let's bring everyone up to speed on the happenings 'round these parts.

We're soooo behind on the 365 Days Blythe Project! So mom's going to make this a catch-up (ketchup?) shot! Ta da! I present to you Picture 27/365!


A couple of weeks ago, I went to Momocon with our friends. We left Zeldy and Ramona at home since mom had her hands full with me already.

Auntie M and Uncle Oidon were there selling their work, including copies of Pantheon High, Deadshot, Excalibur, and Batman.

There were so many people in cosplay outfits! Verrrry neat! I wish I'd had a cosplay outfit. How would I look in gothic lolita? Hmm...

We also spent some time outside getting some much-needed sun and fresh air. Spring has finally sprung!


Uncle Marky Mark visited us for a while and it was fun to see him again. Sorry, guys and gals, we don't have any pictures from his visit.

We were quite busy all the way through Easter Sunday, when we spent the day with Auntie M and Uncle Oidon.

Look at the enormous cupcake cake that daddy made for the occasion. It was bigger than me! You may recall that mommy wanted this pan a while ago. She saw it at Target and couldn't resist any longer.


To start off the day, mommy and I went to cupcake bingo at Sweet Pockets with Auntie M, June, and Himawari.

I wore my radtastic new sundae hat from Willy-Nilly Waterlily for the special day. Thank you so much, Rima! I loooove it! It's yummy enough to eat.



There was a girl who had a Blythe,

On our way home, we stopped at mommy's office to pick up some work. Of course, Himawari and I wanted to take lotsa detours at the Cartoon Network building.

Auntie M and mom really like this Eames rocker lots. They'd say it ROCKS! He he he. I am cheesy, no?


Mommy's favorite cartoon is Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, so we had to take a picture with this painting. It's BLOO... Get it? Bloo? He he. * slaps knee * I'm really on a roll tonight, aren't I?


I was so lost in thought at one point that I just stared out the window...

Hmm... I think we shall make this Picture 28/365 of the 365 Days Blythe Project. Shame on mommy for being so behind!


Wait, is that Billy's NOSE that I'm sitting on??? Eeeks! Get me down!

Much better...


And then it was off to our egg hunt! Look at us go!!! * hunt hunt hunt *



I felt extra-special because our sweet friend Claudia sent me an adorable dress that she made. It has aqua accents and that's my favorite color! Hugs to you, Claudia!


Ramona invited Himawari to her room to count the eggs we found.

Sharing - Part Deux

So you may remember that I'd resolved to share more in 2008.

Well, it's been tough, let me tell you. Thank goodness for New Year's resolutions to keep me on the straight 'n narrow! Recently, my willpower was put to the test.

Zelda and Ramona were hanging out in the living room...


Zelda was brushing up on Princess Ettiquette (courtesy of our wonderful Auntie Becca, Gracie, and Co.), while Ramona was listening to some records.



Lo and behold, a package arrived!


And our names were on it...


I was the first to grab it... Surely, they wouldn't notice...


But that eagle-eyed Ramona did... I dodged her easily by asking her to recite the ABCs. She's an easy one to fool, thank goodness.


It turns out that mommy bought us gorgeous Willy-Nilly Waterlily dresses! They are the most perfectly made and adorable dresses. I tried mine on...


And I really wanted to keep all three... They were too pretty to share! But Ramona looked so sad, and Zelda clearly didn't approve.


So I decided to share in the end. After all, they're my sisters and they put up with my shenanigans all the time. Ramona did a little cheer, Zelda approved, and I felt a fuzzy feeling. Maybe that was from eating all those hot wings and cupcakes for lunch, but mommy said that the feeling was from being a good girl.


So I hope I can keep up with sharing in the future!

In other news, it's been a fun weekend.

We went to Books Japan Saturday night to pick up some craft books and a cute little notepad. Mom kept saying "ooh" and "aah" over every book that she picked up. Gee whiz - you would think she'd never seen a book before. Apparently, though, Japanese books are totally different.


Then we went to eat at Umezono next door, mom and dad's favorite Japanese restaurant. They like that it's authentic and not all fussy frou-frou.


Mom, Jessica, Kristen, and Phil also stopped by Momocon today, but we'll have to update you on that later this week. Mom says it's time for bed!

Ramona the Goofball and Cupcake Love

Last night, we sprung forward for Daylight Saving Time, so we all lost an hour of sleep. Ramona seemed to take it much worse than the rest of us.

First, Ramona mistook her hairbrush for her toothbrush...


Next, Ramona decided to brush her teeth in bed and fell asleep while brushing her teeth...


Finally, Ramona woke up with a start when she accidentally swallowed her toothpaste!


She really is a strange one. Now it's up to all of you to guess who she takes after more. Would it be mom or dad? You be the judge.

As most of you probably know, we all love cupcakes. And no one loves them more than mommy.

This weekend, mom and dad were at Sur La Table and spied this enormous cake pan that makes cakes shaped like cupcakes.

I believe this is what Auntie M had mentioned to mommy before, but we didn't quite realize how HUGE it is!

Now mommy is waiting one week to determine whether she has to have it! Jessica thinks that it is ultimately destined to come home with us. I must say that I do agree with her. Mommy won't be able to resist.

Recently, mom began following Bakerella's lovely sweet creations and they are truly cute to the nth degree. Bakerella also introduced everyone to artwork by Cakespy, which is so extremely cute that I plan to sneak onto Cakespy's Etsy store as soon as possible to buy one of her paintings.

Bakerella made this tribute to Cakespy's artwork on YouTube. We didn't make this video, but you absolutely have to watch it because it is soooo cute!

What a weekend! Mom had four days of non-stop Blythe fun. Lucky lucky mommy!

First, I gotta make sure I get to Loovee's and Sam's tags. We've been tagged for 7 random facts. Hmm... Where to start?

1. We loooooove cupcakes in any size and any flavor.
   
2. Butterbear was sent to us from our sweet friends Rima and Loovee and he is my best friend in the whole wide world.
3. I have stinky feet. I like to take my shoes off and share it with my sisters.
   
4. Boogers get stuck on my face.
5. Stairs are NOT my friends. I fall up them, down them, and all around them.
   
6. I only like books with pictures.
   
7. Aaaaaaand... New Girl whispered to me that her name is actually RAMONA!!!

Last Wednesday, mom finished up the last of her midterms and she was pretty glad to have a week to rest. So she took Thursday and Friday off from work to refresh and unwind with us. It's been so much fun that it's practically been a blur.

Day 1 - Thursday

On Thursday, mom had lunch at Zyka. Zelda and I didn't get to go. We were in time out for getting in a food fight.

She met up with Mr. W, a good friend from her days at a previous job. Mr. W was such a good sport to take a picture with Ramona!

Mr. W's face is actually in the real picture, but mom thought it would be best to protect the innocent from the interwebs.


And then the Blythe Marathon began!

Day 2 - Friday

Mom picked up Becca. Again, Zelda and I were in time out. This time it was over some silly fight involving hair and gum. Sheesh! So Ramona went and met Gracie.

They went to Intown Quilters to look at fabric. Lots and lots of fabric... And, of course, more of it came home with mom.



Ramona liked that Gracie would play peek-a-boo with her.



And then they went to Knitch, the best yarn store in Atlanta.

Look at this guy go! He knits better than mommy.







And, of course, no day is complete without cupcakes! Mommy and Becca stopped by the Atlanta Cupcake Factory to pick up cupcakes for dinner - I mean, dessert. Yummy!



Finally, everyone came home and Zelda and I got to meet the whole crew - Gracie, Bobbie, Nora, and Nobby.


Poor Bobbie was still doped up from her cold medicine.



Day 3 - Saturday

Saturday was the day of the Atlanta Spring Blythe Meet and... Wow! Dollies!!!!!! 32 dollies, in fact!


This is the most dollies so far and we hope we can keep growing the group! That shall be mommy's goal for 2008. I will have a performance review with her at the end of the year to make sure she meets my expectations.




We met some new folks this time, including the sweet Memeeps and Lawdeda's mom! We love dolly people and it was so awesome to meet them.

At first, there was a lot of napping going on... Nobody was able to really sleep, though, because of all the excitement.





But Gracie and I decided that we couldn't miss out on all the fun and we promptly got up!


Everyone else started waking up too. No, it wasn't my snoring that woke everyone up. Really, they wanted to get up!









Mom was even nice enough to buy us our own cupcakes from Sweet Pockets. For once, I didn't have to share with anyone. I got one all to myself! Wahoo!!!




When we ventured outside a bit, we found a nifty, shiny, red fire truck. Rad. It would be perfect for a Blythe parade, really. And we could've formed one had we some floats and candy to throw at all the nice people that were curious about us. Everyone at Irwin Street Market (workers and customers alike) asked about us. Yep, we're already on our way to stardom like Blythes are in Japan!


Mom let me drive, of course... Aesop and Kaede were passengers and Nora was the beauty queen.



Kaede, Aesop, and Nora hung on for dear life while the others just looked on. I'm not a very good driver, you see. Dad says I have what they call a lead foot - just like mom.





After Zelda felt queasy just from watching me drive the fire truck, mommy took everyone home.


The day didn't end there. Nope - the Blythe-iness carried on until late in the evening. Mom, Jessica, Auntie M, and Becca talked dollies for hours!








By the end of the day, we were exhausted but it was the fun kind of exhaustion. After all there was one MORE day ahead of us!

Day 4 - Sunday

On our last day, we went to the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

The current exhibit is inspired by Gracie. Really, it is! Gargoyles and Grace. Yup.










As you can see, we posed for lots of pictures together. Moms are like that.

Ramona, being the new girl, didn't quite understand how you're supposed to sit for pictures. Here she is blocking Zeldy--pants. Thank goodness Nora let her know that you're supposed to sit next to each other and not in front of each other for pictures (unless your name is Molli and rules just don't apply).




Mom also gave Zeldy lots of attention because flowers seemed to go with her princess-like looks.









And, of course, Ramona snuck in for another picture too.



Thank you so much, Becca, for visiting! You're so awesome and we're so happy that you and the girls are our friends. We had such a great time together and hope that you had a wonderful time as well.
