A Shout Out to All My Sistas

It's kind of late, but I really want to post about my big day today (really yesterday, but who's being picky?)...

We met up with other mommies with their little girls from the This is Blythe forum today. I made lots of new friends. I don't remember their names because there were 15 girls (including a Dal and a petite). That's a lot of dollies!

It was loads of fun. We went to Atlantic Station and ate at California Pizza Kitchen. Once everyone got comfortable with each other, us girls starting making our way around the table. I was playing Duck Duck Goose, but I don't think anyone else was playing along.

I wore my new dress that Mom bought from the Stitch Fairy store online. I liked my outfit with my white cowboy boots. Hmm - should I call them cowGIRL boots? Who says boys get to have all the fun?!?!

One of the girls had the SOFTEST hair. It was soft like... a baby's butt! I want to brush it and pet it and put it in braids and put it in ribbons and twist it in knots... Well, maybe not knots, but you know what I mean.

If I don't get a mohair sister, I wonder if mom would consider giving me a sandy blonde sister like Star Dancer. Isn't she so pretty? She can be the sugar and I can be the spice in the family. I think mom is the steak and dad is the mashed potatoes.

Another girl at the meet had the cutest tortoiseshell glasses. I'm getting a little near-sighted (I can barely see the keyboard now!), so I think mom needs to find me some glasses like that soon.

After that, mom went to June's trunk show in Candler Park. All of her jewelry was super beautiful and very glamorous. Mom makes jewelry too, but she likes to support local arts and crafts. So she ordered something for a special someone, but she might read this blog so I have to keep my lips sealed on that...

Mom and dad really love Candler Park. They hope to live there someday. Oooh - how fun! We'd be able to walk to Flying Biscuit and Fellini's!
