Ramona the Goofball and Cupcake Love

Last night, we sprung forward for Daylight Saving Time, so we all lost an hour of sleep. Ramona seemed to take it much worse than the rest of us.

First, Ramona mistook her hairbrush for her toothbrush...

Next, Ramona decided to brush her teeth in bed and fell asleep while brushing her teeth...

Finally, Ramona woke up with a start when she accidentally swallowed her toothpaste!

She really is a strange one. Now it's up to all of you to guess who she takes after more. Would it be mom or dad? You be the judge.

As most of you probably know, we all love cupcakes. And no one loves them more than mommy.

This weekend, mom and dad were at Sur La Table and spied this enormous cake pan that makes cakes shaped like cupcakes.

I believe this is what Auntie M had mentioned to mommy before, but we didn't quite realize how HUGE it is!

Now mommy is waiting one week to determine whether she has to have it! Jessica thinks that it is ultimately destined to come home with us. I must say that I do agree with her. Mommy won't be able to resist.

Recently, mom began following Bakerella's lovely sweet creations and they are truly cute to the nth degree. Bakerella also introduced everyone to artwork by Cakespy, which is so extremely cute that I plan to sneak onto Cakespy's Etsy store as soon as possible to buy one of her paintings.

Bakerella made this tribute to Cakespy's artwork on YouTube. We didn't make this video, but you absolutely have to watch it because it is soooo cute!

Well, that's it for today. Go forth and eat cupcakes, everyone!

Flipping daylight saving time. Ours is soon. With that and the leap year, we surely should be getting an extra day's holiday this year!

Aloha Linda & the girls,

Ramona looks like she has settled in so nicely in her new home! It's so wonderful to see a post all about the new girl, so we can all get to know her better. What a sweet, silly thing she is!

We just love all your cupcake links! So cute and yummy!

We are so excited about the swap, too! Loovee and Gachpin can't wait!

Hugs,
Rima, Loovee & Gachapin

Oooh, I've seen that cake pan in a magazine - I want it! Poor Ramona.....she had a day like me. Although, I can say that I've never mistaken my hairbrush for my toothbrush. :)

wow, that bed spread brings back some barbie memories for me.

Ramona, Maddie likes your pajama top. Is that a porcupine in your bed? Very cute, but ouch, girl!

We lost an hour, too...I was almost late to this thing I had to go to...I hate time changes(*-*;).

Ramona somehow seems clueless to me...I don't know why...She's really cute, though(^_^)!

I love Sur La Table!!! You know what...that big cupcake pan is also available at Linen'n'things, too...now you have to get it...(^-^) hee hee!

Have a nice week!

Thanks for sharing the links. I went to Bakerella's blog and my mouth was watering. It doesn't help that I'm dieting..grrrr. I hope Ramona gets used to DST soon! Sandy:)

I think Ramona resembles her mom more. :P Kidding!

I'm in Arizona, and we don't use DST here. It's kind of nice, but in the winter it gets dark around 4:15.

Neener neener no daylight savings for me! Growing up in Indiana we didn't have it either (though I think they have it now). And yeppers none in Arizona either.

OMG you really do need the baking pan. I mean giant cupcake Molli...just think of your mommy having GIANT cupcakes! Candace and I took cake decorating classes a few years back, it would be way fun to decorate a cake sized one!

Oh that Ramona! Silly silly girl, whatever will you do with her?
