Warm and Cozy

It's May and the weather has been changing a lot. It was warm for a while, but it's been chilly at night lately. I don't have my bed yet, but mom decided that I needed a comforter to keep me warm.

She made one for me tonight out of a vintage handkerchief that she bought at Lakewood a while ago. That was back when there were two locations. The one she used to go to closed not too long ago. She's sad about it.

Anyway, my new comforter is great. It's gray with really grown-up-looking embroidery on it. I think it will be really pretty with my new bed.

Mom's a pretty bad sewer so it took her a long time to make, but that's OK. It's done now and I like it!
