My New Dress

While dad was doing yard work today, I thought I'd help him with the gardenias. I petted them, so that they can grow real big. I think they like petting more than singing.

Mom's been sewing, sewing, sewing! She made me a new linen dress and headband set last night. So I wore them to hang out with mom and dad today.

My new outfit is super breezy. Mom says linen is good for summer weather. Good thing because I don't want to have B.O. from being too hot.

She even made me a matching slip with lacy details. That way, people can't see up my dress. It's good to be lady-like.
