We're finally getting some rain in Atlanta and the electricity promptly went out!

Even in the dark, Zelda-pants manages to primp herself for going out to dinner with mom and dad. I don't have Zelda's primping skills, so I'm hiding with a case of crazy-cat-lady hair.


Since there was no electricity, mom and dad went out to dinner on Buford Highway. They had Vietnamese pho noodles. The perfect thing for a rainy, dreary night!

Afterwards, they had dessert at Mozart Bakery.


At Mozart Bakery, dad had a bubble honeydew smoothie and mom had a bubble iced coffee. Then they shared a cream-filled bun and a green bean pastry. They brought the pumpkin mandu home for me because they love me so much! Zelda is so health-conscious, she just posed for pictures.


I'll bet that if I hide Zelda's brush, I get to go next time!

Oh, wonderful day! Mommy let me open my wonderful package from Rima and Loovee!

Poor little cardboard box. It could not stand up to mighty Molli me. I promptly tore it to bits to get to the contents.


I put on my new glasses from Kristen so that I could read the lovely tag on the beautiful box. M-O-L-L-I... Hey! That's me!!!


What's this? A super-cute bear! Oh, I love him! Isn't he sweet? I have to think of a name... I know! I love butter and I love him. So Butterbear is the perfect name.


But, wait! There's MORE! Toffee-covered macadamia nuts (our favorite) and the most adorable and perfectly made outfit ever.

I had to put on my new outfit right away. It makes me feel so chic - like a little Amelie!


Thank you so much Rima and Loovee for being such wonderful friends to mommy and I. Words can't describe how much I love my gifts! We hope to meet someday!

And for all those that are wondering... Don't worry, Zelda-pants didn't get left out. Mommy bought her some new handmade glass cupcake pull charms from Kerry of CrazyLadyBeads on Etsy.

They are the best and most amazing cupcake beads I have ever seen! They are so perfectly and artfully done. This picture just doesn't do them justice. You just have to check them out!


Happy Tuesday, everyone! Just 7 more days until Christmas! Yay!

Patiently Waiting

Mommy and Rima agreed that Loovee and I get to open our gifts as soon as our package arrives in Hawaii. Yay!

Until then, I will wait patiently by the box... And then I will rip it to shreds!

I Meet, You Meet, We All Meet at the Holiday Blythe Meet

This Saturday, mom shuttled Zelda and I around in the rainy Atlanta weather to get together with our friends for a holiday meet. Not only were we overdue for some rain around here (eh hem - drought), Zelda and I were totally overdue for some fun with our Blythe buddies.


Mom, Kristen, Dianne, Lauren, and Nell hung out and talked for hours at the Northern Star Coffee House in Historic Norcross. They seemed to really enjoy themselves. Grownups! All that coffee and talking...

I met someone new - Dianne's Tommi. I think she might have been a little put off by my constant nonsense-talk, though. I tend to talk in circles and then go off on tangen... Hey! Is that a chipmu... Oh! I wonder when that Alvin and the Chipmunks movie comes ou... Mmmmm... Popcor... I like butter.


Oops, I did it again. Where was I? Oh yeah! Blythe meet...

Zelda and I also met Kristen's Bailey and Dianne's Star for the first time. What pretty gals! Though I think that Zelda was quite shocked to see her twin across the table! I think Star's much cuter than Zelda-pants, but let's keep that between you and me.


Mom and Kristen turned out to be each other's Secret Santas! Kristen is always so sweet. She gave us such wonderful things. Thank you, Kristen!!! Mom owes you some dresses to make up for her skimpy gift and that pepper shaker incident (hee hee).

We promise to post more soon with pictures of the wonderful items that Kristen gave us! Mom and dad spent the weekend rearranging the house (yet again), so picture-taking has taken a back seat. Boo.

'Tis the Season...

'Tis the season for family, friends, and festivities!

Mom finished her finals tonight. Yay! Now she has 3 weeks to spend with Zelda and I. I'm a little stir-crazy from being cooped up at home.

Mom seems a little pooped right now, but I'm holding her pillow captive until this entry is posted. I want to properly thanking some Blythe friends!

We recently met Lilly and Maggy online (girls of Gina S). They were so kind to swap with us. Here are just some of the many wonderful items they sent us in a fantastic package of clothes, Re-ment, and accessories. Thank you Gina S, Lilly, and Maggy!!!


Here I am, wearing my favorite dress from the swap. The fabric is so perfect! And it goes so well with my new Black Bunny Designs sweater. I will be wearing this outfit nonstop!


Zelda-goober really loves the peachy halter dress. Zelda's really workin' the saucy Grecian goddess look here. Seems like she knows how to ham it up sometimes too! Yeah, I taught her well.


And last, but not least...

Mom helped me put together something for my swap with Loovee, my penpal in Hawaii. We met on TIB and she is just lovely! We adopted Mr. Norbert from her mom, Rima, who makes some of the cutest plushies on earth.


Well, I guess I should surrender mommy's pillow to her now. She still has to go to work tomorrow and it's 3 a.m. now. At least tomorrow is bagel day. Bagel bagel in my tummy. Bagel bagel you're so yummy.

Pancakes and Jam

Mom and dad made pancakes for dinner tonight. Yummy!

They served them up with some authentic Vermont maple syrup from Gramma and Grampa J. Double yummy!

Dad glops his syrup on and mom dabs hers on. Me? I could drink syrup from a cup!

In addition to all the cooking, I helped eat too! Oh yes, I'm Blythe-of-all-trades!

Lumpy's Magical Tour...

Tonight, mom and dad started to put together their Christmas tree. Tory, Emma, and Bailey have a tree, so I begged and pleaded for mom and dad to put ours up. They happily obliged because they love me.

Somehow, their tree doesn't smell like pine, comes in three pieces, and has lights on it already.

I tried to be helpful and brought them their ornaments. There were big, sparkly ones and little, flat ones.

And then there was a papery star that looked pretty darn old. Is it from early civilization? No, that doesn't look like Sanskrit... Hmm... I believe that is just daddy's chicken scratch from when he was little.

I put it on the tree so that we could all admire daddy's artwork. Thanks, Gramma J for saving all those little things!

Then came Lumpy's turn to get on the tree. Lumpy is an adorable little Magic Yam creation and was a gift from our lovely Auntie M last year.

Me: Lumpy, are you ready for your magical tour on the tree?
Lumpy: Help!
Me: Oh, Lumpy... Don't be scared. The lights on the tree are totally safe. You won't catch on fire.


Me: Here is a big hug to send you on your merry way...
Lumpy: Help!
Me: Zelda, give Lumpy a hug too. It'll make him feel better.
Zelda: I don't think so. He might smudge my fabulous new House of Pinku dress.


Lumpy: HEEEELP!
Me: Bye-bye, Lumpy! Be good in that there tree!


Lumpy: (sigh)
