Life is Grand When You Have a Silly Hat

Ramona was zipping around the house today...

That goober was in nothing but a hat, t-shirt, and undies! Yikes!

Ramona: Look mom! I can has a radtastic, silly, fuzzy, wonderful hat! I lubs it!

Mommy: Awww, well you should thank your Auntie Becca then. And put on some clothes that match your pretty hat.

Ramona: Yepper-doodles! Do I match now?

Mommy: Good girl - you match now.

Ramona: Goody-goody! Thank you, Auntie Becca!!!

In other news, mommy is super-duper excited about our upcoming San Francisco trip. Spring semester is almost over and we'll be heading to the airport right after her finals.

So far, here are the things we want to do and places we want to visit:

And, most of all, we're looking
forward to seeing old friends and meeting some new ones. Yaaaayyy!!!

What a Grand Ol' Time!

Hellooooo there!

The whole family went to Nashville this weekend and it was totally fantastic! We loved every bit of the trip even though we were there for less than 24 hours.

Nashville has so much character, culture, and interest. And, of course, the best part was that we got to hang out with Sarah, Jill, Andrea, Theo, and their dollies.

Mom is so elated that Sarah took took a picture of me with her radtastic Polaroid SX-70. Mom is so in love with this picture. She really can't stop staring at it. I do think it's mom's favorite picture of me ever.

Thank you a million times over, Sarah! She loves it so much that she's making it Picture 30/365 of the 365 Days Blythe Project.

The whole gang picked up food at Calypso Cafe and went to Shelby Park to take some pictures.

While we were there, the cool girls let me hang out with them...

Zelda finally found her true personality (with help from Sarah)... She's a Scandinavian princess!

Mavis is quite the budding photographer. I am impressed. I usually end up taking pictures of my feet.

Apparently, the park is a popular place for people that like each other. Ramona is too young to understand, though. Mom hasn't told her anything about the birds or the bees.

And I got to spend some time with Andrea's Ebony! We look so much alike yet so different. It's fun having our own personalities. Yay!

Back at Sarah's house, the redheads took a picture together...

Then the blondes...

And, finally, the brunettes...

Andrea's Dynamite Girl and Sarah's Neo Licca are amazing. They look rather intrigued by each other, don't you think?

Ramona seems to have endless amounts of energy. Must be the new bunny outfit Auntie M sent her! She's a little Energizer Bunny. A very pesky one.

Thank you so so so much, Sarah and Brian for all your hospitality. Thank you, Andrea, for the awesome DollsAhoy! pants and Botan rice candy. And thank you, Jill, for letting us ride in your fantastic basket! You guys majorly rock!

Me: Say bye-bye, Butterbear!

Butterbear: Bye-bye!

Greetings from Molli W. Griswold

It's spring break for all us kids this week and I really wanted to go on a family vacation, just like the Griswolds.

Me: Mommy, can we go to Wally World?

Mommy: Sorry, Molli. I can't leave work right now.

Me: But I really wanna go...

Mommy just couldn't get away, so I got Butterbear and packed...

And I waited...

Mommy: Whatcha doin' there, Molli?

Me: Waitin' for the bus...

Mommy: Where are you going?

Me: Wally World, mommy!

Mommy: Are you sure you have enough food there?

Me: Of course!

Mommy: And is Mr. Mollibunny going to be comfortable in there?

Me: I think so... He's little!

Mommy: But you're all mis-matched, little one.

Me: What? Really?

Mommy: Why don't you come back home?

Me: OK... * sniff sniff *

Mommy: We'll go to Nashville this weekend, OK?

Me: OK... * grin *

So I went back inside. Mommy was right, I'm still too little to travel on my own. Maybe someday. At least I get to see Someofmyorange and her girls this weekend! Yippee!

Mommy saved a snapshot of me for Picture 29/365 of the 365 Days Blythe Project to remind me that I still need to stay close by her.

Toots 'n Poots

What a wonderful weekend it was...

Mommy finally finished her week of craziness. In addition to some urgent projects at work, she had some jewelry stuff (craft show at Manuel's Tavern), some accounting class stuff (homework, quiz, and midterm), and some IT class stuff (report and presentation).

I think she felt like a hamster running on a wheel. The week is over, though, and she's feeling much more sane. She sure can sleep - she didn't get up until 2pm today! She's spent most of the weekend resting and spending some great quality time with all of us.

Today, mom and dad made cold noodles and dumplings for lunch. That sounded like a great meal, so I had some too.

Mmmmmm... Cold noodles with dipping sauce, sesame paste, and scallions!

And Chinese vegetable dumplings!

It was all so yummy... I ate 'til I was full to the brim...

Zelda: Molli, did you eat too much again?

Me: * buuurp *

Zelda: Eeew! You smell like cabbage!!!

Me: * poot *

Zelda: Gah! * thud *

Me: Zeldy, you might want to get up soon. There's more where that came from.

Ramona: Those loonies. Yay! I get all the cake to myself. * nom nom nom *

And that's * poot * all folks! We'll * poot * be back * burp * soon!

And, of course, thank you so so so much Rima for my wonderful sundae beret! It's deliciously neapolitan!
